Reminders

Occasionally, a dead bird on the ground calls to mind what Jesus said about how God sees when a sparrow falls, yet He values us far more than many sparrows (Matthew 10:29-31).

Isn’t it fascinating that God uses something small like a dead bird to remind us of His great love?

God uses big things too. Not long ago a faint but beautiful rainbow arched across the eastern sky–reminding us of God’s promise never again to destroy the world by flood (Genesis 9:11-17).

God uses reminders to bring His truths to the surface, renewing our faith. How we need these—and often!
