God created our marvelous sense of sight. With the free will God gave us, we can use our eyes for good or evil.
How attractively Satan packages evil! The person who pleases God “shuts his eyes from looking upon evil . . .” (Isaiah 33:15). “. . . everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart” (Matthew 5:28). “I have made a covenant with my eyes; how then could I gaze at a virgin?” (Job 31:1).
A made-up mind
Making up our minds not to look and lust, let’s choose the many wholesome alternatives God provides to look and learn (Psalm 8:3-4; 19:1; Romans. 1:19-20; Proverbs 6:6; Matthew 6:26, 28).
The choice is ours.
