Under Construction

hard-hat-tagged

Day by Day

Within sight of our backyard is a freshman residence hall under construction.

Day by day it looks more and more like the architect’s drawing displayed on site.

Barring unusual circumstances, someday it should be occupied—all 490 beds!

A work in progress

Addressing Christians under construction, Paul wrote, “. . . He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus” (Philippians 1:6).

In view of how much it cost God to redeem us, He is highly motivated to finish what He started.

And finish He will—if we do our part.

“. . . work out your salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure” (2:12-13).

Someday . . . .
