“Will wonders never cease!”

During Jesus’ ministry “. . . the crowd marveled as they saw the mute speaking, the crippled restored, and the lame walking, and the blind seeing . . .” (Matthew 15:31).

Now enthroned in indescribable glory, He is beyond sight but never beyond reach (Hebrews 4:14-16).

Knowing what awe can lead to, Satan uses such distractions as daily worries, sin’s pleasures, material pursuits (Luke 8:14)—anything to keep our eyes off Christ!

Addressing believers, Paul wrote, “Set your minds on the things above, not on the things that are on earth . . . . When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory” (Colossians 3:2, 4).
